This home historically was a tavern and dance hall which was completely updated and renovated in 2019. The stone fireplace and glass in the windows are the only rustic remnants of that long ago past that remains. It now has modern accents and cabinetry with premium fixtures. The beds are also new and comfortable. The full over full custom and very unique bunk bed is totally amazing.
Note: The historical stone fireplace is non-functional and is for display only.
The location of the Blue House Tavern is amazing! Bring friends and family to explore and entertain. This home is literally steps away from Lake Access along the shore at the base of the Historic Beaver Bridge, locally called “The Golden Gate of the Ozarks”.
You will be staying in the quaint town of Beaver, Arkansas. It is like living in a Norman Rockwell painting. This sleepy little lake community is relaxing and peaceful. The town was a depot for the historic railroad and is still skirted by the remains of the majestic iron railroad bridge that spanned the White River. You will have many “Instagram Moments” with the railroad bridge, the suspension bridge, Rogue’s Castle, and the old Beaver Town General Store serving as backdrops for your photos. There is also a small, but fantastic local restaurant that is located 1 block from the home called “The Side Bar”. They are family friendly and are known to serve some of the best pizza and coldest beer in Northwest Arkansas.
Mountain Biking all around! Bring your bike to Lake Leatherwood, or try Dirt Church at the Passion Play. There are plenty of trails in the surrounding area… all are within a 15 min drive. Also, take a leisurely walk along the Lakefront hiking trails (on the old railroad bed) which are located down the street within walking distance. There are 2 golf courses across the lake and around the bend at Holiday Island.
Bring your Boat, Kayaks, Motorcycle trailer! We have room!
Family Reunions are welcome! We border the RV park and Campground and have two other lodgings in Beaver. The house next door is called Beaver Town Bungalow, and the other is called Beaver Town Lodge. Renting all 3 properties would give you capacity for 28 people (Not counting the space at the RV park and campground).
Pets not accepted
